Well, if you really "formatted your computer,"
then you have nothing left but a blank hard drive
-- there is no DESKTOP left to boot up to.

Your options are to reinstall the Operating System
yourself from your original Windows installation
disk(s), or to take your computer to a
knowledgeable friend (or a repair shop) who can
help you.

A wise man once said: "FORMAT is NOT a repair
tool."

A lot of people think "FORMAT" means a sort of
"tidying up" and "squaring away" of one's computer
files.  It doesn't.  It means "erase everything on
the whole computer."
