Thanks for the reply. I checked the Windows 95 upgrade cd as you suggested and did find the sounds there. Apparently the sounds I remembered must have been remaining from the Windows 3.11 for workgroups that was initially installed on this Gateway. But the System CD for the Gateway is not organized at all like a Windows CD with cab files, so I suppose that ends it. :(
