HI Keith, thanx 4 the reply. my pc is an old one and i know that this is a windows
95 forum but windows 98 is just an upgrade from 95 isn't it? I will try your solution
and see what happens. But it seems like I got the lines thru the screen at the very
same time that the pc would only start in safe mode if i did get it to start and
the xms driver error came up. the xms driver has another name which i can't remember
at this time. But after doin a little research i found that the problem could be
a faulty ram card. I have 6 of them. But thanx for your reply.
