If you meant
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.DAT
instead of what you wrote then sharp idea but on my 98 box that I'm using right now I see it's only a couple minutes older than right now and I've been on for several hours.

So I took a look around and found
C:\WINDOWS\NDISLOG.TXT
which is zero byte file with the proper boot up time. Anybody else got this one that we could use to find/figure total ON time? More importantly, anybody NOT have it which would break a universal batch file approach to the problem?
