Winsock, eh?
Have you ever installed the Winsock2 upgrade on this
computer?
It used to be a free download from Microsoft, but
I see they've taken it down. I found another source
here:
http://ftp.unb.br/pub/windows/win95/
It's got the same size and MD5 hash as the original
I got from the old Microsoft page, so I'm sure it's good.
