Windows 95 Annoyances Discussion Forum

I bought a pc from church and the win98 dosn't boot up. I have win95 but lost the code # Microsoft says to go to registry editor (where do I go from here) my pc only boots up to the win98 screen and stays idal.I have the 98 upgrade with my prod.# Please I need advice on just getting to the registry. thank you Ed
