One quick thing that you can do is put a shortcut to the viewer of your choice into
your SEND TO folder.
To fix the association permanently, you left click once on the file icon, then hold
down the shift key and right click. The menu that pops up includes "Open with".
You click that. In the box that comes up, there's a checkmark place for "Always
use this program to open this type of file." Tick that, then find the program that
you want to use. As you've used it before, it should be on the list in front of
you, but if you can't find it, use the Browse button. Double click the exe file
of your chosen program and your picture will open. After that, the association should
be as you want it. Good luck!
