On startup on my Window95 it boots directly to Scandisk which shows one spot for clusters that are bad. The error message states as follows " Hotsync caused exeption c0000006h Kernel32.dll at 014f:bff847a6 then with different addresses. I can get into the system but only after all these messages are shown to me. It also crashes after some time when I am on the Internet. thankyou for any assistance Stephen

Looks like more of a problem with hotsync than kernel32. If you're not using hotsync to connect to a PDA or some other device, uninstall it, reboot the computer and run scandisk. If scandisk returns found errors, delete them to recover memory space. Run defrag too while you're at it. If you are using hotsync, uninstall it and reinstall clean. After you uninstall it run scandisk and defrag before you reinstall. Obviously if you are planning to use hotsync, make sure you have the installation software before you remove it from your computer.
