Missing Taskbar

Old Pentium 1--133--with Win95--made by Acer.
Lost the Taskbar completely. Tried all the recommended techniques---clicking the
margins, etc. to no avail. The Desktop continues to dominate. To get to Start I
must use Ctrl-Esc. What did I do to cause this? Can it be fixed? Any suggestions?
Thanks. Frank

If your taskbar was down at the bottom, you should be able to get it to show again......Move
your pointer way down to the bottom of the screen, and when it turns into a double
arrow, you should be able to pull it back up.
I don't know, if you tried that, or just tried clicking......
The same would go for any other side of the screen, I would think.

Check out Microsoft article # Q247502, they mention a corrupt registry. Here's the

Thanks, your tip worked very well for me. For some reason the mouse pointer just
would not pick up the edge of the taskbar. Awesome tip. SG
