I have a question about All of my desktop icons just became corrupted - what do I do?:

My icons have reverted to the stock Windows flag image, and now all show the suffix .ink. I believe that I may have deleted a file type registry key and don't know how to proceed. Will the tweakui repair tool fix this? Any help appreciated, I have tried all the suggestions here and elsewhere....but no dice yet- Thanks

Greg, yes Tweakui will repair the icons EXCEPT those that were associated with web sight shortcuts. Those icons are stored in the temp internet files and get deleted when you delete temp files, unless you dig them out and save them to another folder and then re-associate them. I save mine to a folder.
