I looked into the win.ini, and all the obvious things and cannot get the registry editor to stop loading when the computer is booted, don't even know how it happened besides a virii that was eliminated. Any ideas? Thankx

Christine, check the windows\start menu\programs\startup folder or if not there, when it runs, click the + signs by: local machine\software\microsoft\windows\current version and click on run and remove it from the right hand panel. Close regedit and restart the machine.
