Question about 'Customize Your Keyboard Mapping'

One of my staff members has developed or aggravated an enlarghed joint on her right index finger. She believes it has come about because of changes to our data entry system whereby the tab key is on the left of the keyboard as opposed to the right on our old proprietary system. Is there a way to reconfigure one of the keys on the right hand side to be the TAB key? ie the "enter" or "+" keys..

Yes. In Win 95 you can still use ANSI.SYS commands to swap keys in your AUTOEXEC.BAT but it won't work in Win ME or XP. Search the NET for ANSI.sys to find out how. It's too much to go into here. If you want, there are comercial packages available but ANSI.SYS is already on your systems.

Is there any way to swap keys on XP? I heard that there are programs available that can do it, but I can't seem to find any. thanks
