System clocks and timers are loaded as part of the "system" devices when you start
the machine. The ones currently in use will show in device manager under System Devices.
Items that have been removed or upgraded/replaced don't show in "Normal Mode" but
are still there and can be seen by booting to "Safe Mode" and opening device manager,
as windows keeps track of every device and it's drivers that have been installed
since the first time windows itself was installed/started.
