Question about 'Turn Off the Documents Menu'

I have a question about Turn Off the Documents Menu:

This registry edit mentioned above doesn't seem to work on my computer (win95). Is there a method to have the job done by editing the registry anyway or am I compelled to use the other methods? Thanks a lot

The instructions for editing the registry are on the page you referenced.

Ok, I noticed the page references the current user section of the registry. Check the local machine section and make the same changes.

Check the "admin" directory on your Windows 95 CD for a program named Poledit ( Policy Editor ) it is a network admin tool that is used to configure desktops. It has the capability to turn on and off just about every windows feature. It can be run from a floppy, or the CD or the desktop.
