After installing the drivers for my network card I got the following error.
------------------------
An exception 0E has occured at 0028:C10265CF in VxD VIP(01) + 000017DF. This was
called from 0028:C0032EA9 in VxD NDIS(01) + 00000CED. It may be possible to continue
normally
-------------------------

Can anyone explain what this is refering to and a possible solution?

The computer is telling you it has a problem with a virtual device driver ( VXD )
file. Go into device manager and see if any conflicts show.
