Huntbar invaded my pc and my register. I went to regedit to the search and search
URL default and took huntbar out. I thought I put the right info in to restore it
to normal. When I hit search on my toolbar for IE I get action cancelled. I can not
get my old search window to work. I put this in the registery for my reg. search
info: http://www.search explorer.net/search_page php. Someone PLEASE help me fix
this mess. I need the original regedit urls to restore my search. Traffic4sure, huntbar
and one other have invaded my reg.. Thank you M

Refer to these two threads for suggestions. Install and run Ad-Aware. Plus, there's
a link in the second post to an informative adware site with info. and instr. If
you repair I.E., you're search setting will be back to where it should.
Plus, if you're comfortable with using the registry, there are instr. on how to Lock
your homepage in the second post. There's also, a small app called StartGuard. You'll
see link to a download at the site I link to.

Thanks for your links, I will see if they help. I did go into my registry and type
in what I thought would cure this problem. That did not work either.
I also repaired IE in add and remove programs. No dice!
In internet options, my homepage area has me locked out too. Go figure. Anyone else
have any ideas???
Thanx Marci

There's all sorts of info. in that one link I provided in a post I linked you to.
The answer is there somewhere.
