I have a question about When I choose "Shut Down" from the Start Menu, my computer hangs at the "Please Wait" screen:

i tried removing sound event for shutdown,holding shift & hitting enter, this dos'nt work is there another solution. thanks

Check out the troubleshooting steps here, and MS has a shutdown patch, also. Once you apply the patch, the disable fast shutdown will no longer work. http://www.aumha.org/a/shutdown.htm Please reply on the forum. I will not answer private messages, they'll be deleted.
