My son has a computer running windows 95, I gave him a canon bj100 printer. When I try installing it going through the wizard it tells me to insert windows 95 disk, which I dont have. Then it tells me his computer is missing the canon800.drv file and the installation cannot be completed. I'm not sure why this file isn't already on his computer....is there some place I can download this file off the internet using my computer (running windows me) onto a floppy or cd and then installing it on his computer?

The file you want may be on your ME CD. This is a way of finding CAB files for Win98 and Win95 but it should work with ME. FINDING FILES IN .CAB FILES. Win 95. To find a file in a .cab, open Explorer and select the folder containing the .cab files. Open the Tools menu, click Find, Files and type *.CAB in the Named box. Click on the Advanced tab, type the name of the wanted file in the Containing Text box and click Find Now. Win98. To find a file in a .cab, open Explorer and select the folder containing the .cab files. Open the Tools menu, click Find, Files and type: *.Cab in the Named box. Type the name of the wanted file in the Containing Text box and click Find Now. If the CD does have the file, put the ME CD in your son's computer and extract the necessary files.

THANKS! I'll try it, hopefully it will work, when you have a five year old nipping at your butt, you want to try to get their problems resolved QUICKLY so the nipping will STOP! LOL
