Ann,
Stuck in DOS? Bob had a good point - perhaps more information is necessary to diagnose
your problem.
However, if this is an issue involving corrupt Windows System files (meaning that
somehow your Windows Operating System has become corrupt) - May I suggest a fairly
simple fix. Assuming that you are using Windows 95/98, perhaps you should just reload
Windows over Windows. By this, I mean - reload the entire operating system on top
of the exisiting operating system. This usually replaces bad/corrupt system files
and makes your system work more efficiently. Just make sure that you load the new
OS install into the same C:\Windows directory and not a new one. Warning: if you
reload Windows into another directory, you will have to reload ALL your programs.
When you're installing the replacement OS - if/when a message pops up prompting you
to either "keep existing file" or "replace them" - I'd suggest that you keep your
exisiting files.
Let me know how it turns out.
