Create a W98SE boot disk from www.bootdisk.com. Boot your system with this boot
disk, and type the command FORMAT c:

Hi Gerry,
Is there an advantage of using 98SE boot disks over the regular 98 disks ??

Nope. The W98SE boot disk is better for some purposes. In your case, however, even
the W95 boot disk would do. Using the W98 boot disk (either version) simply ensures
that if the W95 partition happens to be formatted FAT32, the Format program will
correctly overwrite it.
Please note that the Format procedure doesn't fully erase the data -- the data becomes
inaccessible to ordinary folks, but the law enforcement types or other really determined
people might still be able to retrieve your data. The cost of doing so normally
isn't worth the effort, though.

Thanks Gerry...
No, I'm not trying to hide anything. I've installed various versions of 95, along
with 98 using the 98 boot disk.
My question was, would the SE version perform in all those applications? In other
words, one boot disk for all 95 and 98 apps.
