I'm using Windows 98 Second Edition. I too have the same problem with the "error, unable to find the file" bullshit. Someone please help me... for I know not what to do....It's not that bad, but please advise. Thank you.

Not sure how, but went to Start/Run and typed in MSConfig then under the Startup tab unchecked the Desktop box which had a ref to "msconfd". Restarted PC and all seems ok.

Looks like you have all been hijacked... take a look at your Bookmarks there may be some that you want to get rid of ASAP. I used ad-aware.com which is a free download and all is now ok.
