My problem is .... after positioning the icons on the desktop where I want them, upon rebooting, all icons snap back to the left side. Some times before the system even reboots or when I open a program. Could somebody help me on this ? Thanks...... Lisa

Right click on the desktop and under "Arrange Icons" uncheck "Auto Arrange"
