When I start my old IBM Apitva 386 running on Windows 95 I get the following message

C:\DOS\system\CPBVXD.386 press any key to continue

Hi Mark.
Have you done a search for CPBVXD.386?
You don't need this file. It appears your system was built over a DOS system C:\DOS\system\CPBVXD.386
Therefore I would just remove this entry from the C:\Windows\System.ini file.
Microsoft Knowledge
You can also delete your DOS folder.
