Keyboard code

Keyboard on old Toshiba laptop running windows 95 has somehow been changed so that
the keys in some instances are different ( w key is now =w, s key is now es, etc.)
Some keys do not function at all. It appears that it was turned on by a combination
of keystrokes. Anyone have a suggestion on how to reset this back to normal. I have
reinstalled the keyboard drivers and tried different keyboard options to no avail.
It effects all programs including the dos promt.

This happened to me once with an old Toshiba
laptop, and it turned out to be a defective keyboard.

It should be a "joke" program that is running when you get in Windows and changes
the keys or disabling them. Check if this is one of those "joke" programs with an
antivirus program and remove them. I'm not sure if these programs (Joke) can get
in registry too as keys. The antivirus should do the job for you.
