I cannot send any mail other than repond to the e mail that I receive.
It gives me the message: Shortcut mail program
unable to send mail
How am I to fix this?

Hi Carol.
Insufficient Information.
Whose email are you using? OutLook, OutLook Express, MSN Messenger, Gmail, Yahoo?
Or who is your ISP?

In response to my mail program not working, I am using my isp provider as:
Pa.net
I don't know if that is my problem. When I was with
earthlink I did not have this situation. It was downloaded from their end.

Carol,
If you were using "Earthlink" , and Outlook Express, their mail properties were unique
to Earthlink. Contact your new provider for their correct settings.
