I buy an older laptop with windows 95 internet ready but what items to i need too buy to get it hook up so the internet would work it has explore on it . i just trying to make it wireless so i can take trips :| indiffrent

Hi Nikita:

"Internet Ready" in an advertisement for an older
laptop usually means the laptop has either a
telephone modem or an ethernet card (or both). 
Older laptops did not usually have "wireless"
built in, but often this could be added with a
plug-in PCMCIA card.

I would like to do this too. I have a pentium windows 95 laptop, i would like to connect to my dsl, either wireless, or wired. i know it has a modem, but that's about it.
