Updating to windows 98

Is anybody aware of a website that deals with the procedure to update to windows 98 from windows 95? Please note this is for an update version only. I have checked the microsoft website but w95 is too old to be covered, as well as the internet in general. However, this does not locate anything worthwhile. Any limitations in using an update version of w98?

I am not aware of any websites that deal with Win95 to Win98 updates as both of the Operating Systems are so old. I can however speak from a LOT of experience with upgrading the OS and it is a very simple matter. If you have a Win98 Upgrade CD you simply need to put it in the CD Drive with Win95 running and it will "auto- launch" and ask if you wish to upgrade. At this point it is a simple matter of answering a few questions and making some on-screen choices. It will then ask for the upgrade "key" and begin the upgrade to Win98. Most all info from Win95 is saved and ported over to Win98 so you do not lose any data... BUT it's always smart to do a backup of any important data just incase. George

George, Thanks. I remember it being that simple. But was checking for more possible complex issues.

The PC-911 site's tutorial covers all versions. They prefer a "clean" install, and I agree that it is best to do it that way.
