trouble connecting to a Server2003 workgroup share

Put in a new Server2003R2 server to replace NT4. Not a DC ... this is just a simple workgroup setup. Created a simple share on the D: drive and gave full rights to user X password Y
I need to map an F: drive on Win95 clients to \\server\share but the net use command isn't the same as XP/2000 where you can specify the user and password to use to connect to the share.
Is there a way I'm missing to specify user/pass in the net use command in Win95?
Other ideas on how to work around this issue? I've not tried creating a new user on the win95 client with the same name as the server account ... is that the secret?
Thanks, Jason
