following Jerry's post about changing the diplay from 16 colors and the 640 slider grayed out

I was reading a post and cruising along just fine following the instructions to resolve
my issue. But then they left me hanging when the got to the gateway website. I
have a Dell latitude CPx that had windows xp on it. I formatted it and put windows
95 on it so hubby could play his old games that are not compatible with newer OS.
The game "Chessmaster" will not run and I am assuming it is because the video and
sound drivers are messed up. The screen display is little and I only get the option
to go to 16 colors or mono and the 640x480 slider is grayed out. I ran the AIDA32
utility on it and the display description is ATI Rage P/M Mobility. When I go to
Dells website, they have nothing for me when I put in my service tag number. What
should be my next move?

Tracking down drivers can be a pain.
Have you tried here?

No, but I will! Thanks Jerry, I will let you know if it works or if I need to pick
your brain some more. First I have to get some sleep because the daylight savings
time thing kicks my @$$!!
