Since windows 95 doesn't have the system information file, how can I find out what
type of processor I am running? I have purchased a refurbished IBM notebook and
I don't trust the manufacturer's label.
Is there another way to read about the system information: Pentium III, 128 RAM,
bla bla, bla.?

Watch your display while booting up. Initially when doing the memory check you
should see something stating the processor speed depending on your BIOS manufacturer.
If not there, most show a table during bootup stating your system spec's but you
may have to hit escape to close the ugly windows splash screens in order to see this.
