I have a question about What to do about a Page-fault, Illegal operation, or Fatal exception Error:

Hello my name is vincent. Recently i have had a problem with my computer because every time i switch it on, it comes up with a message " This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" If i click on details it says " RUNDLL32.DLL caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff9db61." I have checked there are windows programs When i tried to close it, it does not close. However most of the programs works fine, but i can not switch off the computer normally otherwise it crashes. Can anybody give me some advices thankyou.
