If you installed win2k after starting from a boot disk and defined a directory
other than 'windows' for it to use, then it shouldn't have put anything there
that you need.

HOWEVER+++ If you've since installed applications that place .dll's, etc, you
can't be certain that it put them in the correct directory. If you have all the
installation disks, you can remedy that, tho.

I would suggest that you rename it first from a dos prompt, boot up normal
and if everything works ok, deleting it should be fine.
