msgsrv32 shutdown error Thursday, November 15, 2001 at 7:22 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by gems (2 messages posted) I'm running win98 2nd edition. When I go to shutdown or restart I get this message: msgsrv32 caused a general protection fault in module setupx.dll at 003:000080C6. I've tried replacing setupx.dll with a new file from the install disk and that didn't take care of the problem. Help!
