2 win98se, 1 xp home w/ router network wizard issue

I'm having networking problems with my network involving an XP Home system, and 2
win98SE systems. I want to file and print share between all three, and share the
net through a router connected to a cable modem. The XP connects fine to ONE of
the win98SE's (lets call it A) and that computer connects fine with the XP. They
both can use the net and mail. However, the other win98SE (lets call it B) can only
communicate with the other one (A). The two win98's connect fine with each other.
However B cannot connect with XP and XP cannot connect with B. It could connect
to the net but now it can't. Something funny is going on and I think it has to do
with the windows XP network wizard I've run (repeatedly) on it. Now, pinging it
from other computer is not successful. However it can still network to the other
98se. It also receives an ip from the router (via DHCP) fine. Any one familiar
with what changes the windows xp wizard has done that has won't allow pinging or
connection to the internet? I would like every computer to connect with each other,
but would be satisfied if I could restore this system so that it can access the internet
again. I've played around with using just TCP/IP, and TCP/IP w/ NETBUI and it's
not getting me anywhere. If anyone is knowledgeable in the I would love some assistance,
I've wrestled with this problem for too long now, and can't find any info on the
web with this.
