I had a somewhat similar problem the other week with 3 Win98SE networked computers when I connected a standalone print server to the network. I might also add that a few weeks ago I lost my ability to do Internet Connection Sharing, too! Try running winipcfg, and compare the numbers on the computer in question to those that are working properly, and see if your subnet mask and IP addresses are weird. If so, you can release all of these addresses and request that all of them be renewed. This worked for us, so why not give it a try if you otherwise cannot get it going?
