I don't have a specific solution to your new problem, but there are a couple things you could try:

- Delete temporary internet files, clear History, get rid of all unnecessary cookies; clean out your Temp folders, get rid of personal files you no longer need, and empty the Recycle bin. Then do a scandisk and defrag.

- Try disabling all unnecessary items from the Startup tab of msconfig, including anti-virus software that may run at boot-up. See if it makes a difference.

Good luck.
