To answer the question you need to give more info. I guess Recovery CDs can be system
specific, but if you only installed a new drive, that shouldn't be a problem. Some
Recovery CDs need a partitioned drive, so did you partition? What is stopping the
recovery process; does it give a failure and if so, which one?
