Exshell is Excite@home software that puts the ExcitePlatform Icon in the tray next
to the clock. It's located in "C\programfiles\Excite\Platform\Exshell.exe" After
loading the Cox software ( takes over from Excite) I started getting the same error
message. Cox puts a CorrectConnect Icon in tray that performs simular but more extensive
function and the ExcitePlatform is apparently no longer used. To get rid of the error
message I went to Start>Run>msconfig>Startup and unchecked EXCITE PLATFORM and restarted.
Things now working normally, no more error message.
