I have been reading several different opinions of others on how to do this. My question is my computer did shut down by itself until recently and then no longer would. I wrote to the forum and was told to change the apm which I did to no avail. I then was told to try holding the power button in for about 5-7 seconds and see what that does. It worked but my question is how can I get it back to shutting down on its own. I want this machine back to where it was when I bought it and can't seem to find the problem why it stopped shutting down by itself. Thanks. Debbi
