if there's no non-system diskette in the floppy drive, then you need to get your
hands on a windows 98 startup diskette (you can make one from pretty much any windows
98 machine by going to add/remove programs in the control panel and selecting the
startup disk tab.). pop it into the floppy drive, turn the machine on, and
when it's done booting, enter this at the prompt:
sys c:
eject the diskette, hit ctrl+alt+del or the reset button, and pray that it works...
