How come the chain stopped? I am also having similar problems. I am using the enterprise
Mcafee solution. Only computers that are having problem are "some" Dell GX200.
I am only speculating that it has to do with the chip set changes that happened a
few times on the GX200 model.
I nailed it down to Mcafee/Chipset related issue. When I disable Mcafee from startup...
no reg error message. So why do I think it's also the chipset? Because out of 500
computers, 100 of them are GX200 Dells and only 35 of them are giving reg error messages
which makes sense because the GX200s changed their chipset a few times.
I will try to update any chipset patches and see if this resolves it. I will report
back.
But the weird thing is that, the reg error occurs almost at random times after startup.
