you certainly can, you need to install the ICS protocol on the gateway machine only, this is done through the control panel > addremove programs > windows setup in windows 98se. Make sure that the gateway PC's IP is entered on the TCP/IP properties in the Network Dialogue in control panel, and the DNS details are included. (host name (Computer name) - domain (eg WORKGROUP), and the search order (Computer name). This only needs to be entered on the non-host machine
