I followed this fix and it didn't seem to work for me. A couple questions to those
in the know:
1) Under the "Net Trans" folder there were a number of numbered subfolders, several
of which had "TCP/IP" values under DriveDesc. I went in and added the appropriate
MaxMTU on all of them. Was that the right move?
2) Also in one of the folders there was a "TCP/IP" value with a MaxMTU of "1400".
I tried changing it to "1492" one time and leaving it the same the other -- didn't
seem to make a difference.
I'm using two Linksys 10MB Phoneline USB network adapters off two Dells (one running
Windows XP (host), the other with Windows 98) in order to share our DSL. Any thoughts
would be appreciated.
