Phil: a few things to try;
1. slim down your Startup folder to only: systray, scanreg, antivirus, firewall and
mouse.
2. add the following line to your System.ini file, [386Enh] section:
MinSPs=8
3. in your Config.sys file, add the following, each on its own line:
STACKS=64,512
FILES=60
BUFFERS=40
then Restart.
4. see the link below (after your text) for some more tweaks.
Post back this page if that doesn't help and we will search some more. Any reference
to a module, file or program would be helpful, if available.
