I am still trying to figure out what I am misreading in the equation. x times x plus 2x plus 24=0 subtract 24 from each side of the equation. x squared + 2x = 24. Get get rid of the 2 by dividing 2x and 24 by the two. Now I have x squared + x =12. And that = 3. My grade = F Laughing out Loud.
