several posts on vnunet tag WebPoolFile to Viruscan 4.0-up.....and this file indeed
disappears if you close Viruscan & VShield (in the taskbar)....
BUT:.....it's also associated with MS-IE......i have another PC with ONLY Netscape
installed (IE is removed totally), and WebPoolFile is NOT on this PC....
it probably has to do with McAfee's shift to online scanning, which is done ONLY
thru IE (verified with McAfee).....
McAfee should at least id this file as theirs in the "properties", and give it an
extension...send them an email about it....lou
