re: 'Turn Off the CD-ROM Autorun' Sunday, March 24, 2002 at 8:28 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by amaralliya e. thenardier (3194 messages posted) also sent via email: honestly, i'm not sure how the two work together. tweakui can enable or disable auto insert notification based on the content of the cd (audio or data), as i stated before. disabling auto insert notification via the device manager disables it for both types (microsoft "dumbing" things down, probably), and i imagine that tweakui just takes advantage of the fact that it can be enabled or disabled based on content.
