I have a question about Getting
Network Neighborhood to recognize newly attached computers:
I've been able to setup 9 computers on a peer to peer network using Win98se. They
all run TCP/IP and NETBEUI and File and Print Sharing, connect to the Internet thru
a DSL router, which is also a DHCP server. The problem is the 9th PC gets a "cannot
browse" error when accessing Network Neighborhood. The other 8 PCs can see the 9th
PC in Network Neighborhood and connect to a shared folder on the 9th PC. Although
the 9th PC cannot browse, it can print to two shared printers on the network and
access the Internet through the router. I've swapped NICs, changed PCI slots, removed
and re-installed protocols, drivers, operating system and HD partition with no luck.
Please submit ideas because I'm fresh out of them.
