This problem is much worse. I am running a AMD K6-2 and after installing V-com's
pc upgrade program, the same problem occurred. I fixed it by disabling the power
save stuff at start up and that fixed it. Tonight I installed Studio 400, and the
problem is back. MS has pages and pages of information about the problem.
I do have McAffee installed.
