The fastest is currently DDR RAM , but your motherboard must support it ,as well as your processor.... And it can be very expensive... VRAM is Video Ram and only appears on Video Cards.. EDO , SRAM , DRAM are older versions of RAM.. Most common current one is SDRAM...... It depends what your system will accept.... Doesn't do any good to buy fastest and best if your system won't accept it..... But remember , you also need a fast processor and a fast hard drive to play good games..... not just fast RAM......
